The Mall of America isn’t just an ordinary mall. Located in Bloomington, Minnesota (a suburb of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul), the enormous retail paradise attracts more than 40 million visitors each year.
Midwesterners have undoubtedly heard of this amazing mall, and it wouldn’t be surprising if it is known by others in the U.S. and even the world. After all, according to Wikipedia, the Mall of America is the second largest mall in the United States and the 21st largest mall in the world.
Mall of America offers more than just retail stores and restaurants. The large shopping arena has an array of other attractions that are perfect for a unique experience of entertainment.
Here are my 5 Favorite Attractions In The Mall Of America
1. Nickelodeon Universe
Perhaps the largest attraction in the Mall of America, Nickelodeon Universe features a wide variety of rides and games. This indoor amusement park is one of the Mall of America’s staples for any visitor and fun lover. Don’t forget to ride the Log Chute and face your fear of heights on the Dutchman’s Deck Adventure Course.
2. Amazing Mirror Maze
The Amazing Mirror Maze is quite a mind boggler when try to maneuver your way through the magical mirrors, hallways, and lights. Don’t let the reflections fool you, and you’ll conquer the maze that offers its visitors a new surprise down each new path.
3. Lego Attraction
The Lego store is one of the most amazing sights in the Mall of America. Kids love the giant sculptures crafted completely out of Legos. Some of these grandiose statues include a helicopter, and slippery serpent, and a 34 foot robot! Kids can construct their own masterpieces at creativity stations in the store choosing from a wide variety of shapes, sizes, and colors.
4. A.C.E.S. Simulation
This intelligent space simulation is an experience with no comparison. These life-like simulations very similar to those used to train and test real pilots. Riders can choose between a variety of options including trying their hand at landing a plane and battling against a friend in the ultimate pilot showdown.
5. Sea Life
This is a great place for kids to have fun, learn, and experience sea life all at the same time. There are more than 10,000 creatures at Sea Life that the whole family can view in awe.
