We just arrived in Prague last night after a long series of connecting flights and layovers. After a good night’s sleep we were up early, ready to explore. While waking up too early can be a negative side effect of jet lag, we’ve learned there’s nothing better than to get up and start walking in your new destination.
Views from an Early Morning Walk Around Prague
Located in Prague’s Old Town Square, the Old Town Hall Tower houses the famous Astronomical Clock.
A walk down the Old Town side of the Vltava river offers a glimpse of Prague Castle in the distance.
An interesting tribute to a Prague artist.
Walking across the Manesuv most (bridge) offers a view of the Charles Bridge.
One of the bronze statues in the Wallenstein Garden, near the Czech Senate Building.
Ahh! Our first espresso in Prague.
With the espresso, we had to try the famous Apple Strudel served with vanilla sauce and whipped cream.
The Statue of St. John of Nepomuk is one of 30 statues that flank the Charles Bridge.
Petting the brass dog is a tradition thought to bring good luck.
We can’t wait to ride on one of these trams that whip around Prague.
