The Cayo Levantado Beach Escape in Samana, Dominican Republic

Samana, Dominican RepublicThousands of North Atlantic humpback whales come to the Samana Bay to give birth each year between January and March, boosting the tourism activity around Samana, Dominican Republic during those months.

Since our visit was in late November, via a port call from the Seabourn Pride, whale watching was out.

At the last minute, we decided to join the Cayo Levantado Beach Escape,  one of the ship’s  shore excursions.
