We headed to New York City today via Southwest Airlines. We scored seats in the exit row, with extra leg room and a view of the wing.
LaGuardia airport was crazy-busy, as usual.
The cab ride into Manhattan, however, was relatively quick and painless.
Our destination, the Hilton New York Fashion District.
The lobby is decorated in the fashion/garment theme. Notice the art — made of spools of thread. The front desk staff at the Hilton Fashion District are friendly, funny and efficient.
A surprise at check-in — Mr. Jones learns he’s been chosen as the “guest of the day.” This designation means 10,000 bonus Hilton Honors points. And a bottle of wine in our room.
