My cousin and I visited the Kansas City Zoo yesterday, with her six-year-old nephew.
What fun is was to explore the zoo with a knowledgeable six year old who could explain to his adult companions which animals are omnivores.
Fun at the zoo starts with a ride on the African Sky Safari. 45 feet above the animals.
The Kansas City Zoo covers more than 200 acres, on land donated by Colonel Swope.
